A Silent Snowy Morning in Ontario

I woke in the early hours of the morning and noticed that it had snowed more heavily than expected during the night. From our bed, if the bathroom door is left open, I have a lovely view out of the window. I lay in bed this morning, feeling very lazy, contemplating whether to get a little more shut-eye or not. Eventually the picturesque view from the window won me over and I grabbed my camera a took a few photos.

It's Chilly Out - Winter Hats From Etsy Sellers

I've spent most of this weekend in a hockey rink watching my youngest son's team in a tournament. Yesterday my head got so cold, I decided I was dressing for the cold arena this morning and popped on my black fleecy hat - worked like a charm. I realized I actually enjoy wearing hats and yet I only have the one. So I started scouting around on Etsy and found some great hats guaranteed to keep your head cozy in the chilly weather.

Nothin' Like a Good Snowball Fight

There's nothing like a good snowball fight especially if you're the one lobbing the snowballs!




Of course, if you don't feel like participating, you can always try eating snow..yuck.

It's Scarf Time!

We had a glorious sunny day here yesterday but there was still a noticeable nip in the air. I realized I need to get out my winter woolies soon. I love going for a daily walk but keeping my neck warm is crucial - I hate being cold!
