Peony in Full Bloom

My peony is in full bloom this week. Rain predicted for this evening though so the flowers won't last too much longer!

Magnolia Time is Here Again

Once again, my gorgeous magnolia is about to bloom. It doesn't last long but looks stunning for about a week at least. It should be in full bloom in about 3 days.

A Walk Through a Garden of Delights!

Today's blog is dedicated to my parents' breathtakingly gorgeous garden. They both work hard most of the year round cultivating these stunning plants. Last year their garden was featured in a local magazine and you'll see why. The garden boasts an incredible variety of plants and shrubs but some of the loveliest, in my opinion, are the irises.

So take a glimpse at just a few of the plants that are currently blooming. Enjoy!

Flower Bloom Necklaces - New Additions

I've added some new flower bloom necklaces. My Green Tea Pearl Bloom Necklace was so popular that I decided to add some variations on the theme. And has the price of silver gone up? I went to my silver wholesaler yesterday and spent a staggering amount on supplies to see me through the summer and possibly the fall. Not looking forward to the credit card bill!

The Progression of My Magnolia

A week or so ago I wrote about my magnolia tree in my front yard. It always signals the start of spring. I love it when it blooms as it is so pretty but it doesn't last long.

This year, I decided to photograph it everyday to see how quickly it changes. So here are the photos showing the blooms developing. It's a short post - I have been so busy this week and my in-laws arrive tonight!

One Big Mess...

There is no other way to describe the state of my house right now! I'd like to at least say "organized chaos" but there is no order to this chaos at all.

I'm hosting my jewelry spring open house next week so I've been working non-stop towards that. As a result, I seem to have let everything else slide. I'm busy trying to photograph several new pieces of jewelry so there's photographic equipment all over the dining room table. Guess dinner will be in the kitchen tonight.

Tomorrow, we're having family over for dinner, so I guess I'll be madly trying to get this place tidy!

Otherwise, for those of you who don't know, tomorrow is Etsy Day, so promote, promote, promote! Not specifically your shop but just Etsy as a whole.

I have two new listings for today ...

Cream Coin Pearl and Silver Bloom Necklace

and for anyone who loves a cup of tea (like me!), there's the

My amaryllis is finally flowering!

My mother-in-law gives me an amaryllis bulb every December and every January it blooms in my kitchen. It brings a lovely splash of color to an otherwise rather dreary weather winter. I never know what color it's going to be. Here's this year's...a gorgeous orange-pink with white striations.
