UK Visit - Warwick Castle

The first weekend of our holiday in the UK was spent with my husband's extended family in Warwick, England. Warwick Castle is a famous visitor attraction there and since my youngest son has just finished studying medieval times at school, it was the perfect place to visit. The weather was perfect - warm and sunny and we spent most of the day there. We toured through all the rooms of the castle, plus walked around the walls and the grounds. We had a very comical guide enlighten us on the lifting of the castle gates which the boys enjoyed. We also bought tickets into the dungeon but had to make an early exit due to my son feeling very sick (it was a scary, stomach turning show that we weren't quite prepared for!). Of course, there were the descriptions of the ghastly torture methods used back then.
